What struck me most in your piece was the joy of life running through it, and the way you captured something deeply Japanese: a personal way of being in the world that exists alongside consideration for others and constant awareness of what is happening around you.
There is individuality, but within a framework. When it rains, the nylon jackets come out. Tradition is respected but reinvented. Simplicity is styled rather than abandoned. And above all, there is ease.
